WHO ARE WE?

Fairway D/S is a division of FAIRWAY UNDERWRITERS, Inc. Unlike other companies, agents and brokers who may insure an occasional golf club, FAIRWAY has specialized in golf facility insurance since 1989. Virtually all golf specific coverage available today from other carriers was developed by FAIRWAY in conjunction with and at the suggestion of golf course owners and managers. As a broker, FAIRWAY has a long and distinguished history of offering insurance and risk management services to over 1000 golf clubs from coast to coast. Our underwriting carriers are rated “Excellent” by A.M. Best and are endorsed by the NGCOA.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

At the suggestion of club owners and managers Fairway D/S was created to offer those owners and managers an alternative to the usual and customary insurance policy procurement procedures. Now it’s possible to “go to the source” for information, coverage and service. The immediate benefit to those clubs will be to:

• Reducing insurance costs
• Streamlining service
• Making claims settlement more efficient

Fairway D/S will appeal to those owners and managers who wish to have a more direct approach to handling their insurance needs. For all others, our policies will continue to be available from any local Independent Insurance Agent.

HOW DO YOU GET STARTED?

Getting a proposal is simple and it all starts with our Club Champion® comprehensive Property and Liability policy. Click on the application button at the top; select the appropriate policy type from the drop-down application menu; complete and return it to us. The Club Champion application can be completed and submitted online. Keep in mind that completing the questionnaire may only take you a few minutes but the underwriting here could take 20 – 30 days, so please give us at least that amount of time.

• Clubs within 10 miles of the seacoast
• Swimming pools with diving boards, slides or no lifeguards
• Cooking areas without UL 300 compliant fire systems
